Absolutely! The British Movers and Storers has an array of tools for every occasion. We’ll ask you ahead of time which items need dismantling, so we can bring the right tools to get the job done and to plan the move effectively.

We recommend a minimum one-week notice. If you leave it any later than that, we may not be able to accommodate you for the date you need. We get booked up quickly at times. However, it is sometimes possible that we have a gap in our schedule. We’re always willing to accommodate quick moves where possible. Please call us to enquire about our availability.

Our quotes are fixed. We never include hidden extras based on the information you provide us. However, if your needs change, for example you didn’t originally require our packing service but now wish to use it, we will recalculate and send it to you for authorisation before we proceed.

Both questions depend on the size of the move. When we know the size and scope of the job, and where you are going, we will allocate the relevant number of people. We will also be able to provide a realistic timescale.

Yes. Simply tell us what you want us to do with it when you ask for your quote and we will incorporate it into our service and our fee.

If there is room, not a problem.

British Movers and Storers use wardrobe boxes. These keep your clothing during the move which minimises creasing.

We reuse them for other deliveries. However, if you would like to purchase some from us, we will be happy to sell you some.

Yes. We do not include extra costs for a weekend move. It’s the same Mondays through to Sunday.

Televisions and other large fragile items are wrapped carefully and padded in quilts to minimise the impact of the move. They are then carefully positioned inside the vehicle to ensure they don’t move around.

We would appreciate you letting us know as soon as possible if there are any changes to your circumstances. That way we can help plan and help you better, calculate a new quote, and provide a more accurate time frame.

We can as part of our full packing service, or we can send you some boxes ahead of your move if you would prefer to do your own packing.

We accept debit cards, credit cards, BACS, and cash payments.
